Violetta captures fellow artist Maggie Michael as her muse in the light reminiscent of Dutch masters Vermeer and Rembrant. Inspired by this lighting style and Maggie’s timeless beauty, Violetta collaborated with friend Tara Papanicolas to style the photoshoot, turning Maggie into a 17th century muse.
Violetta re-imagines Maggie’s persona to create her first painter style portrait. Although not originally intended, Maggie becomes, Violetta‘s “Mona Lisa” with her enigmatic expression.
